I may not have found all of the features just yet, but I figures that I manually needed to add all of my vacation and holiday periods, which is probably not the way most people want to go! There might be a way to import them from the Calendar app? Also, in order to set a day as vacation or holiday, we need to go into the statistics tab and configure target hours at the top.
